Carrajung Estate

Carrajeng Estate is a lovely country winery, the intent is to update the restaurant and short-term holiday homes to a luxury stay.Rebeka, John and Adrian and Ivy (one of the DevelopHers) purchased Carrajung Estate with the goal of taking the beautiful 100 acre property in South Gippsland and turning it into a destination.

Carrajeng Estate is a lovely country winery, the intent is to update the restaurant and short-term holiday homes to a luxury stay.

Rebeka, John and Adrian and Ivy (one of the DevelopHers) purchased Carrajung Estate with the goal of taking the beautiful 100 acre property in South Gippsland and turning it into a destination.

With 5 houses, a restaurant, wedding venue and 11 acres under vine, Carrajung Estate (formally Toms Cap) was a gorgeous venue with a massive amount of potential.

Stage one of the project included updating the restaurant and wedding venue and two of the houses, a one bedroom (perfect for a couples getaway) and a four bedroom house (perfect for a few families or group of friends to get away for the weekend.)

These homes have now been completed and you can book a stay at Carrajung Estate here.

Much of the work was in the property gardens and surrounds, simplifying the existing gardens and updating and modernising the cottages which already had a great layout.

Carrajung Estate is a home in the ‘away from it all’ place. Just you, or the whole crew.  Vineyard views and birdsong. Starlit nights and strong coffee mornings. A weekend getaway or days up your sleeve – be our guest.

James Street, Northcote

Rebeka and John were looking to create a family home which they could live with their family. This house was more about an exploration of things that they loved than following a specific design brief.The James Street house is Rebeka’s ‘forever’ home. The house that sheand John had dreamt of creating. They started with a blank slate, but a lotof hopes and dreams. Like most people that are building there are somany different styles and finishes that they loved, but they needed tonarrow down the inspiration to a theme!

We have now almost completed our ‘take off’, and the tender process has officially commenced with leading trades and contractors!

Rose Street

To create a dual occupancy project that was both striking and timeless. As one of our DevelopHers, we knew Amy and her project before working on the interior selections. Amy had a strong vision for this Coburg project, aiming to add a bit of flair and a point of difference to the interiors of her side by side development. Amy was a dream client with a strong vision and we were able to work with her to create a playful project that both had mass appeal and also was a little different and fun, inline with the demographics buying into this area at this price point.

Rathmines South House Is On the Market, But How Did We Do It?

Ariane, one of our BuildHers, started her very first renovation project in 2019, where she created a calm and cohesive home that utilizes open plan living spaces and clean lines which are accentuated by breathtaking raked ceilings and a neutral colour palette. Nestled in a traditional wooden exterior, this renovation saw old meets new with polished concrete floors, mixed tone wooden finishes and decorative bathroom tiles.

A Wash of White Unifies Old and New

Kennedy Nolan Architects transformed the existing building into a dormitory for the family, while a new living pavilion runs hard against the long southern boundary. This maximises sunlight and creates a connection to the garden. White paint is used extensively, covering a range of textures and materials, both new and old. Visually, the white wash unifies old and new into one functional and light-filled space.
