Not only do we teach women how to build, renovate and develop for profit but we also do our own projects and more recently, Joint Ventures with other DevelopHers. See below some of the recent projects we have undertaken ourselves and with our community.

Clarke St Terraces - a Joint Venture

Recently our Joint Venture at 180 – 184 Clarke St Northcote has hit the market. It’s been an incredibly exciting (and scary) couple of weeks. Pulling together the right JV team, finding the best consultants to work with, developing council approved plans for this challenging site and getting 3 amazing opportunities to market has been quite a ride! Here’s how we got to today.

Carrajung Estate

Carrajeng Estate is a lovely country winery, the intent is to update the restaurant and short-term holiday homes to a luxury stay.Rebeka, John and Adrian and Ivy (one of the DevelopHers) purchased Carrajung Estate with the goal of taking the beautiful 100 acre property in South Gippsland and turning it into a destination.

James Street, Northcote

Rebeka and John were looking to create a family home which they could live with their family. This house was more about an exploration of things that they loved than following a specific design brief.The James Street house is Rebeka’s ‘forever’ home. The house that sheand John had dreamt of creating. They started with a blank slate, but a lotof hopes and dreams. Like most people that are building there are somany different styles and finishes that they loved, but they needed tonarrow down the inspiration to a theme!

North Houses Rathmines

As a Joint Venture,  Rebeka from BuildHer Collective and her husband John, teamed up with seven DevelopHers to create two architecturally different, yet complementary and sustainable homes, by pushing the traditional boundaries associated with property development in Melbourne’s leafy northern suburb of Fairfield.
