THE PROGRAM

What is DevelopHer?
The six-month program, explained

DevelopHer is BuildHer Collective’s flagship six-month property development program for women in Australia. It teaches you to renovate and develop property for profit through three phases – Tools, Plan and Support – and it includes a part-scholarship pathway with a number of part-scholarship places in each intake. The program is led by Rebeka Morgan, a registered builder, quantity surveyor and author of “Stop Dreaming and Start Renovating for Profit” (Wiley, 2025).

The three phases

Phase 1 – Tools. The complete skill set: feasibility and the numbers, finance and lending, site selection, market research, design that adds value, planning and permits, contracts and working with builders. You finish this phase able to assess any deal – and you can try the free Fast Feasibility Calculator today.

Phase 2 – Plan. The tools get applied to YOUR project – your suburb, your budget, your strategy. You leave with a real plan for a real project, pressure-tested with people who know what they’re looking at.

Phase 3 – Support. Property projects unfold over months, and questions show up on their own schedule. Live sessions, direct feedback and a community of women mid-project mean you’re never making a big decision alone.

The part-scholarship pathway

Each DevelopHer intake includes part-scholarship places for women ready to commit to their property journey. The scholarship covers part of the program investment – DevelopHer is a paid program – and is awarded by application. If the program is right for you but the investment is the hurdle, apply – that’s exactly what it’s for.

Who DevelopHer is for

  • Women planning a renovation or build who want it run on real numbers, not hope.
  • Women who want to renovate or flip for profit and do it as a repeatable process.
  • Women moving into small developments – subdivisions, dual occupancy, townhouses.
  • Complete beginners are the norm, not the exception. The program assumes no construction background.

What happens after the six months

DevelopHers can continue with an ongoing membership – continued live support, community and accountability while projects come to life. Many members complete their first project during or shortly after the program and return for their second with the community behind them.

Who teaches it

Rebeka Morgan – registered builder, quantity surveyor, founder of BuildHer Collective and author of two property books. She has worked across commercial construction and her own residential developments, and teaches with the numbers-first discipline of a QS.
