Petra

Petra is no stranger to the world of transformation. With ten projects under her belt, she is a seasoned DevelopHer and renovator. She is the founder of Meliora Studio and her current projects include an urban cottage in Alphington, redesigning a woodland beach shack in Ocean Grove and the BuildHer Clarke St Joint Venture. As a self-proclaimed “Floorplan Fixer”, she is an expert at crafting charming yet functional spaces, and finding creative solutions to construction challenges. Her specialist skills include building to a budget, navigating building codes and promoting environmentally sustainable design. Petra holds a Certificate IV in Building and Construction, and as a believer in lifelong learning, she is halfway through an undergraduate degree in Architecture. Away from all things building, she is a Mumma to three small kids (including twins), is a keen walker and occasional jogger, and is always on the hunt for the next podcast recommendation!
