I THINK LIKE A BUILDHER! The journey begins! Module 1 takes you through the reasons that we build, and gives you an idea of what the process can look like. We discuss finding the processes and trades that fit, leveraging our BuildHer Collective Community, and dancing your way through the building process to create the best personalised outcomes for you.

We hone in on what you and your partner or family really value, identifying your personal strengths, values, feelings and overall vision for your build. LEARN ABOUT ALL OF THE DIFFERENT PROCESSES! Processes, processes, processes! This is a big picture module designed to give you an overall picture of the build processes across every stage. From planning to design, to quoting and tendering, construction, and finally handover, we run you through the basic steps, as well as key legalities and processes. Every process has its own flexibilities, and it's up to you to pick and choose how hands on or off you would like to be at each stage.
FIND THE FIT THAT WORKS FOR YOU! We go into detail on the different delivery methods, exploring both the upsides, and the downsides for a variety of building options. No matter your choice of boots, don't forget - you can change your mind!
WORK OUT THE BLUEPRINT OF YOUR LIFE! Here we cover a large amount of the design aspects of your build. From inspiration and research, planning your spaces, choosing your design team, key terms and documentation, materials and lighting, sustainability, and understanding drawings! Yep, it's a lot! Choosing a designer, builders and trades that you can communicaite effectively with is something we take very seriously - this is your team!

If anything goes wrong, you'll want to know you have all your permits, legal requirements and documentation airtight.
HOW TO GET READY FOR YOUR NEW BUILD OR RENOVATION! Module 8 will get you ready for building and renovation! We talk about prepping the home and/or site pre-demolition, the demoliton stage, understanding site possession and contingency planning. There's information you need to know in this module!
NEED WE SAY MORE? LEARN THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS. It's all happening in Module 9. We've talked about preparing for your build, now we cover what to understand and monitor while your build is in progress. This module is packed full of videos loaded with knowledge-rich slides and lesson tools, all designed to make your life easier.
WRAP UP YOUR BUILD LIKE A PRO! Let's bring this baby home! We're so close to the end and in this module we cover inspections, defects, warranties, user manuals and the management of all these important pieces of the puzzle. We then cover getting your site clean and ready for occupancy. This really is the pointy end of the project. Hooray!
